BIG Studio is a performing arts studio that believes in the power of collaboration and creativity. We strive to empower, equip, and energize our students to be BIG, brave, and bold. Our instructors are highly experienced professionals in the performing arts and are dedicated to giving each student the best possible experience by building both skills and relationships.
We offer a variety of classes from dance to singing to theater, as well as workshops and special events. We create an environment that is both nurturing and challenging, so that our students can learn, grow, and have fun!
BIG Studio was born because BIG things happen when you build a community of passionate individuals who want to do something amazing and do it together.
BIG Studio isn't something that belongs to you or to me. BIG Studio is a place where you are empowered to be your BIG self with your BIG personality and your BIG dreams and your BIG feelings and your BIG attitude. And we will all do BIG things together.

BECCA JACKSON YORK

From the time that Becca could talk, she was on stage, singing her heart out.
For all of her formative years, Becca knew she had to follow that longing to be a creative. Pursuing a life as a theatre artist and musician, Becca earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and a Master of Arts in Teaching, which afforded her the opportunity to turn her vocation into her occupation.
Over the past twenty years, she has consistently worked as a theatre artist by not only producing, directing, and performing in theatrical productions in an educational setting, but also in community theatres, at the Rose Theatre, as well as with Opera Omaha. In addition to her work as a theatre artist and music educator, she has also worked in ministry in several capacities, primarily in worship ministry and faith formation.
Becca is also a Nebraska Thespian Outstanding Educator and Nebraska High School Theatre Academy Outstanding Educator. These honors are awarded to Theatre Educators who have not only produced outstanding shows but also have built classrooms that cultivate courage, authenticity, vulnerability, excellence, and growth.
Becca is gifted in working with students of all ages and thrives when working with artists who are eager to grow in their skills as performers in addition to in their resilience and adaptability as humans.
Becca is passionate about musical theatre, education, and faith, and ultimately desires to inspire others to live an authentic life, be the best version of themselves, and become the person that they were created to be.
